How often do you sleep on the couch?

Most times I fall asleep in an actual bed. But, once a week or so, I'll have a late night working online and simply crash on the couch, so I don't wake my partner up. Often I find the couch more comfortable than a bed, anyway. So, I don't mind too much. How about you? Do you ever sleep on the couch? How often?

There are times that I will sleep on the couch when my daughter is having a rough night with teething and is having a hard time sleeping. Sometimes she sleeps better on the couch cuddled up with me. I don't normally bring her into the bed with me and my fiance because she always ends up waking him up by kicking him. Since he has to work in the mornings I will let him have a good nights sleep while we sleep on the couch. And we actually have a goods nights sleep on the couch.

I actually love sleeping on the couch it makes me feel better and I always get good sleep. Although I love sleepiing next to my husband sometimes I just can't get comfortable in the bed so I go to the couch for some reason it is just nice sometimes.

I never fall asleep on the couch or in my chair, When I'm tired I go to bed. My boyfriend, on the other hand, can fall asleep anywhere...including a few rather strange places which I won't mention here, because if I do I WILL be sleeping on the couch because he put me there!!

No it wouldn't. Your resistance would wear down eventually, and you'd either join me out there, or beg me to come back!!!

I sleep on the couch every night because my room used to leak all the time and it ruined so many things, including the bed, so I just sleep on the couch every night. It's easy to access, it's comfortable for me at least, and it's something to sleep on so I'm not sleeping on the floor.

I just wish more people thought it was normal to sleep on the couch. Sometimes I worry when I tell friends that I sleep on the couch, that they will think I am having marital problems. And, that's so not true! But, it's good that you found a reasonable solution to your leaking roof. Been there. Done that!

I would have to say maybe 3 times a week. I like to stay up after everyone else has gone to bed so I can watch tv without being interupted. Some of those nights I will be more tired than I realize and next thing I know I am waking up on the couch at like 3 am.

I love DVD nights! Late nights I should say. That's usually when I stay up way too late.

I only go to sleep for the night in the bed. However, I do take naps on the couch. For the past 5 years I worked the late night shift, getting home anywhere from 1:30 to 4:30 a.m. My wife worked the early morning shift. So after just a few hours of sleep, I would get up with her so we could have some time to talk before she left for work. Then I would watch a couple of TV programs I had recorded, followed by another 3 to 4 hours of sleep on the couch. We have a built-in recliner so it is very comfortable to sleep on. My wife quit working last August, and I retired last month. I am still adjusting my sleep schedule, so still take a nap on the couch most days in the early afternoon. I cut it down to a 30 minute power-nap so I can sleep at night better.

You're so lucky to be able to nap during the day or afternoon. Once I'm awake it's for good. Well, that is, unless I've only had a few hours sleep, then it's much easier to take a nap. And, essential, too! I had not thought of the recliner as possible spot for a nap. Must be nice.
