I love fruit so much

I love deep red watermelon it is my favorite fruit. I have never had or even heard of yellow watermelon. Does it taste like the red? What color is the outside of the yellow watermelon?

No, I don't believe I ever had yellow watermelon. Is it a special type? Because now I'm intrigued and want to try it. : )

Hi, I love watermelon aswell but red ones. I never eat yellow or heard about it.But I know melon its yelow inside and out side and I love that too. And also I like black mulberry.

I too love fruit.And watermelon is also my favorite.But you are right, the good old fashioned watermelon was so much better then the new seedless watermelon that they have in the stores now days.There is no comparrason at all. I have bought 3 watermelons so far this year and none of them have been as sweet or bright red as when I was growing up. I have had a yellow watermelon before, it was o.k. but it was much like the seedless watermelons that they have out now, it was not as sweet as I like them to be.

I had yellow watermelon last year, bought it by accident and it was sooooooooo good! Do to my anemia I often get deyhtrated in the summer very easily as well as run fevers so I freeze watermelon and grapes to have as a snack or when I'm feeling ill. It helps keep my hydrated and it's pretty tasty, kinda like fat free ice cream, lol. My favorite fruit is Asian Pear, it's so sweet and juicy but crunchy like an apple. Yumm. I love Mango and Pinneapples too! What a yummy topic!

I have never heard of yellow watermelon. If the rind is the same as the pink watermelon, how would one know they were getting yellow watermelon? The same with grapefruit. I know the sign says "pink grapefruit" at the store, but how do you really know? I buy my fruit already cut up in a platter, that way I am more likely to eat it. I want to increase my alkalides for health sake so I eat watermelon (pink), canteloupe, honey dew melon and pineapple, and occasionally strawberries. I also like grapes and apples. Bananas give me a stomach ache and citrus fruits are too acidic. I think out of them all I love pineapple the best, but they too have to be eaten in moderation or will give a stomach ache.

Never had yellow watermelon but I don't buy the seedless one's either...kid's can't have a seed spitting contest with a seedless watermelon so they just aren't as much fun LOL. I can't choose a favorite fruit because I there aren't too many that I don't love.
