Asian Food taste, is it always spicy?

most Philippine food is bland compared to Thai food or food from Lao or Viet Nam..
Chinese food in the US is not the same as in China..Chinese food is more for the eye...then the Japanese fare..
I do not like the spices to over power the taste of the vegetables or the meat..but if you have a cheap piece of meat then you need something to put some kick into it...ginger is always good...so is garlick and such

My asawa like to cook a lot of Indian food..but the curry is overpowering the senses to me..lol..

I don't know well , but I think the most asian food is from Chine and India . And people from these country like spicy food . Maybe ^^
At Vietnam, we like spicy food much . They can tell you're not a vietnamese if you can't eat spicy . I think it's just a joke , but really , spicy food is great.

i think it is because of indian people really love spices on food... also the koreans, always spicy food. they are both asians. I think asians really like spicy foods.
