why is hong kong the shopping paradise?

I just came back from my Hong Kong trip yesterday night and I bought a lot of stuffs back. Its indeed a shopping paradise! Times Square, Sogo at Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui, lots of established brands in those huge shopping centres. Not forgetting those smaller areas like Yau Ma Tei, Temple Street and Jordan. Fun Trip.
