eyeshadow VS eyeliner

i use shimmery colored eyeshadow for base and i think it looks naturally nice then i put liquid liner and then mascara. a lot of people told me that it opened up my eyes so i used it every time i go out. =)

Hi georgiedior, for me it all depends on my mood. If I want to be dramatic then I will use eyeliner, but if I am dressing up or just want to have natural tones I will wear eyeshadow. I do however wear mascara all the time. Reason being that if I don't then you can't see my eyelashes!

I usually use eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara. I use the eyeliner to do my lower eye line parts so that my eyes look more awake! My favourite brand so far for eye shadow would be MAC cosmetics or Bare Escentuals. If for eye liner, I would really recommend a Japanese brand called Kate or MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil, they both are easy to use and are very soft (won't hurt the eye areas) and most importantly, they don't smudge and stay on for a long time. For mascara, I use Maybelline's Great Lash, it's really fabulous and economical to use.

I ususally use mascara, but i only use eyeshadow some of the time, when I just feel like it or for special occasions. Recently I have been taking a break from mascara because I find that if I use it everday for too long at a time I start to notice myself loseing a few eyelashes everyday and it stops when I stop usieng mascara for a while so I assume that it's the mascara that is causeing it.

If ever I use make-up I use both or everything that's needed. But it depends, if I'm going to a party or if I'm just going to go talking to a seminar at work. I don't know about people. But I feel it's isn't complete if you don't put all the make-up steps. I never use eye shadow without eyeliner or vice versa. It complements each other. Without eye shadow, eye liner is like your eyes are bulging. While without eye liner, eye shadow looks like it's floating. Habitually, I use a soft base for the eye shadow, a thin line of eye liner. Sometimes with mascara (black) sometimes with mascara (clear). Or sometimes with no mascara at all.

i dont wear make up in school, but sometimes if i dont have that much sleep i put some eyeliner so that people wont focus much on my eyebags.

I tend to use eyeliner. either a solid black, or a really vivid colour like metallic green or red. I like liquid eyeliners, as they apply easily and really crisply.

I can not leave my house to go anywhere without putting my eyeshadow and mascara on! I don't need to use eyeliner all the time, in fact I hardly use it. But sometimes I do just to do something different.

My problem with mascara is that everytime I take it off, a lash seems to fall off too...even if I used eye make-up remover. But I do like it and will use it for special occasions. Usually, I will just use eyeshadow. Never eyeliners because I can't seem to do it properly. When I bought the eyeshadow quad of Lancome, it came with an applicator that you can use to line your eyes with. So I either use that tool or use a thing eyeshadow brush to line my eyes with eyeshadow.
