Why am I always sick when my daughter has a celebration?

One of her bridal showers I got the flu. I went to the shower but it was not easy to be there. I got poison ivy right before her bachlorette party but made it I just covered myself even though it was a really hot day. Now another bridal shower and what I thought was alergies has now settled into my lungs causing me to cough so hard and a fever. I know it is bronchitis only because I have gotten it so many times. I am not sure what I am going to do about this one. I really don't think I can pull this one off because I so weak and can hardly breathe. I am just so frustrated. I am going to have to start taking something preventative so I can enjoy her wedding to the fullest.

I can totally relate. I've been sick for holidays, birthdays, and other celebrations. I'm healthier now that my kids are older and bring home less germs. I also take very good care of myself and take an herbal immunity booster and I swear it really works. In the meantime, take care of yourself, rest and get better soon.

Hello Tricia. sorry to hear that your not feeling well. If there is a health ood store near you Get some horehound tea. This will clear your lungs up pretty fast. You make atea with honey lemon and horehound herb. Put enough honey to cover the bottom of the mug add a good splash of lemon juice. then let the herb steep for a little bit. Now this is very offel tasteing but believe me it really works. I heve used it for years I was a smoker and had bronchitis off and on all the time and this would help . the horehaound cany can help too. Galic is full of antibotics too.

Stress does some crazy things to our bodies! I'm sure that's all it is. I would suggest trying to relax as much as possible, and it won't be bad to miss this shower as you have already attended one. Leading up to the wedding, just try to relax as much as possible, andtake it easy if you can. Maybe you can take your daughter out for a massage and mani/pedi together.. it'd be a great bonding expierence and it would help the both of you relax before the big day. Good luck.

Maybe you get nervous and your immunologic system goes down making it easier for you to be sick. Those things can happen. Our moods drive our health.
I hope your daughter has a great and happy wedding and you to fully recover.
