Can you keep a secret?

How often has someone came up to you and asked if you can keep a secret and then goes and tells the whole world about it. Then has the nerve to come complaining to you that everyone knows? My sister - in - law is so annoying about this problem. First she asked me if I could keep a secret about her getting a tatoo on her lower back, then within 2 days she was calling me up telling me that everyone knows after I had forgotten she had even had a tatoo. I received 6 phone calls from people that had heard she had gotten one and I asked them who told them and they said they heard it from her. I just told her that if she did not want everyone to know then she should keep her own secret. As is turned out she wore a bikini to the lake at the family picnic and everyone seen it then. What a dummy. LOL Hugs

I will only tell my husband. Everyone knows if they tell me a secret that I will tell my husband and they tell me anyway. He keeps them too.

I can keep a secret, but you're right, there are people who ask you to keep secrets and then promptly ask everyone else to keep the same secret. lolol.
Your friend seems as though she was a bit forgetful of her tattoo and the fact that everybody would see it when she donned her bikini. Dummy is right!!! lol.

Yes I keep secret talk as it was told in the past, even after someone has requested me or not. I have secrets of many years past. If someone has believed us and told his/her secret, it is our duty to keep it as it is and not to tell to others. If we disclose the secret, we lose confidence of our friend. So we must try to not tell to anyone, if so desired. I have seen people promising but disclosing after one or two days.
