Floods in UK

I have never known a June like this! We are suffering from flooding in the UK, the rain never seems to stop. Yet people are dying from the heatwave in Greece.
Is this due to climate change and global warming?
When will people see that they have to change their habits and become more aware of the environment to stop these awful things happening to our weather?

I believe is is the global warning we are worried about. Before, floods fill most of our streets here in the city and in the provinces, there are cave ins, there are trees affected because of this. But to this date we dont have the rains and the tyhoons and we need the floods and the water to water our plants, rice, vegetables, we need them badly. Even the church is helping the people pray for more rains and floods but please no heavy thyphoon please...
