should sehwag replace ganguly as sachins opening partner

i think in my openion its better to continue the openimng partnership of sachin and ganguly for another two years .sehwag has the capability to face the opening bowlers .but at the same time he has to learn a lot. so its better to continue the partnership of ganguly and sachin to continue for 2 years .

Hi. Sourav is playing o.k. presently, I know he doesn't have many years in front of him while Sehwag can serve the nation for a bit longer, but I don't think that you should go for the future aloe not consedering the present. Sourav should be there in the team currently.

No i feel ganguly should continue to be sachin's opening partner as both have world record 17 century partnerships and have won games themselves for the country. So there's no question they should continue. Moreover lef and right hand combination who are good players can trouble the best of bowlers as they have to change their line and length and tend to go for runs.

I think Ganguly is doing a great job and he should not be replaced by anybody.i think if you see the record of Sachin and Ganguly together you will find that they make an excellent player and they have broken may records together.

According to me, DEFINITELY NOT, Sehwag is not eligible to replace Ganguly in the opening-pair slot. I feel so because of the following reasons:- 1- Sehwag does not play consistently, when he plays well, he scores a lot of runs, but mostly he looses his wicket in an ir-responsible manner. 2- I have noticed that Sehwag playws well only on batting pitches, on a bowler friendly pith, he gets out easily. 3- Ganguly has performed consistently since his comeback, further he is more stable and the left-right combination can disturb the best of bowlers.
