They are really cute outer material diapers, like cloth but you put a liner inside that is flushable and earth friendly.

My friend was telling me about these diapers recently. They sound really neat especially if you want to be economical and cut back on trash because you only have to dispose of part of the diaper. I've never seen them before though, so I have no idea where I can buy them.

I have only seen them online. I don't think stores carry them. Maybe some of the high end baby stores but we have none around here.
I looked on Ebay too but they are the same cost as ordering from the website.

I think this looks like a great idea. The come in really cute colors and styles. It would be grat if they were cheaper, and sold in stores. I can't see waiting on a shipment of liners everytime you are running low. And they are pretty expensive.

I agree about the shipping. I couldn't find out how much shipping was either.
I was thinking about using them at home but dispoables when we go out. I couldn't imagine taking a stick and all to the mall or grocery store.

I have some of those here but we call them fitted nappies here :)
I tried them on my daughter the other day because her usual disposable ones were irritating her skin.
They are good & fit really well but they're a lot like cloth so once they're wet they need to be changed right away & if you don't have any pilchers on over the top, then all clothing will be soaked!
I ended up going through about 6 of them within maybe 4 hours, if not less, so as good as they look, if you prefer disposables then i wouldn't use them but if you're ok with constant changing, they're well worth it!

I did just do an eBay search for them & you can now get them with waterproof outters so they don't feel wet & with elastic on the legs so they would be perfect!

I searched Ebay too. gDiapers seem to have a lot of options to fit everyone's wants. I don't know if I want to fork out the money to not know how we will like them.

It looks like a good idea as far as being environmentally safe and all but I looks like a pain to use. There are flushing instructions? It looks like to flush the insert and you have to use a stick in the toilet to break it up. It looks like a diaper who's baby poops his pants in a neat and orderly manner. My kids have had crap going up their back! That would mess up the whole works!
