Whad do you think about LASIK,Laser Eye Survery??

I have been wearing a contacts for a long long time but recently my friend who was just like me took a surgery for her eyes to be fix permanently which is called Lasik (As most of you know, Laser eye surgery/corrrection). She had a dry eyes and I have also. But some doctor says that if you have a serious dry eye they sometimes cannot recommend to take this surgery. Now I am not sure if I should really get it or not. Have you done an eye surgery before with dry eyes? If so do you have any problems?
