Have you ever taken time off to take a close watch on those small flying species which wander from flower to flower on your courtyard greenery ? The speck of honey they derive from the weeds and small flowers is nectar for them . The will to survive ...it's a great sight ! Find time to watch ...there is a lot to learn !

I have never watched a bee. I am not too fond of being close to them. On my vacation this year. I saw a very large yellow butterfly. I was up on a mountain in Tennessee. The butterfly flew from leave to leaf with such ease. I could not take my eyes off the butterfly it was just so mesmerizing. I called my husband out to see it but by the time he got outside with the camera the butterfly was gone. It was truely a site.

I do that every day as I am tending to my roses. There are all sorts of insects that enjoy them as much as I do, and it's interesting to see which ones I will run into each day. The butterflies are my favorites of course because they are so graceful and beautiful.

I have a big garden and flower beds all over my yard and a couple Apple trees. So I have various and nemerous butterflies and bees all the time coming to be so nice as to pollinate everything to be sure it blossoms and produces lovely sights to see and fruits and veggies to enjoy. I have a photo on my profile page that I took early this summer of a bee pollinating a rasberry bud of mine also. Check it out.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yes, I always notice the butterflies when I am outside.. we get the orange monarchs and the yellow swallowtails.. One time at night I caught a glimpse of a huge deep blue and purple moth.. it was awesomely beautiful! If I will look up from under a fruit tree here in our yard in the spring, I will see lots of bees being very industrious.. Quiet nature is so important! We all need to spend more time in it..

I love to watch butterflies and bees. My favorite butterflies are very little, they look like mini-monarchs and are called 'frittilaries.' For some reason they love the clover in my back lawns, sometimes there seems to be a zillion of them at once, lol! For bees, I like watching the big old bumblebees while they're getting the nectar from the flowers in my garden and the weeds over by the horse fence. I love this time of year watching all the bugs. Last week I saw a humungous walking stick attatched to the screen on my porch. It was kind of cool that he attatched himself to the screen, because I could actually see both sides of him.

We are butterfly fanatics here, and have many plants/flowers in our garden that attract them.We have also been taking many pictures of bumble bees lately, so I guess that we have in fact taken note of them and their wonders!

I love to watch the butterflies. I think they are very pretty. I don't like bees at all so I don't watch them very much at all.

Of course I do. My children and I like to watch insects. Its a good learning experiance for them. We catch as many as we can to feed to our lizard. Its fun to watch the kids chase bugs and see how happy they are once they catch one!! Heres a pic of an orange bumble bee on a dandilion.

I love to watch the bugs and the birds in my yard as long as the bugs do not bite me or the birds don't doo on me. LOL
My dog keeps all the birds out of yard as much as he can. He barks at all the birds, but sometimes the blue jays come in just to make him bark.
