Fireworks!

I live outside city limits, so there are no rules on fireworks. At least a week before the 4th of July, they start going on off in my neighborhood and don't stop til really late at night. My problem with it is my husband has to get up at 3am (I used to also) and so he goes to bed early (not to mention what it does to my dogs). The fireworks are so loud and there's really nothing we can do about it. These kids actually keep shooting them after the 4th. So don't you think that this takes away from the original holiday itself. I used to enjoy firing them off on the 4th, but now by the 4th I'm burned out on them.
