Do u like to Do CHARITY?

I'm pretty active in charity work when my health and finances permit. My favorite causes usually have to do with things that I have been through in my own life, so I often focus my energies on victim services, shelters, and hunger issues. When I am able to do so, I like to do actual volunteer work where I can help other people directly, but circumstances don't always permit that for me, and I also give money when possible. Part of my paycheck goes to a crisis center before I even get it, through the community support program at my company. My mylot money so far has also been given to charity, both through online and offline donations, though this month it will likely have to go to pay a bill since I've been off work with health issues. The reason I have so much devotion towards charity work is that there were times in the past when I needed help myself. Some of those times there were people who helped me, and I want to pay it forward from there. Part of those times there was no one to help me, and I want to make sure other people don't have to feel that same way.

Charity between friends is o.k for me. I am in such situation when any help is wellcomed. If i have some more money and see a friend in need, i will delicately help to him/her.But i never give money to beggers or support the manipulating causes for example: send SMS and you will help to a ill child...blablabla.

I volunteer at a local nursing home where I used to be a patient. So many of the people there are so lonely and just get dumped there and forgotten about by their families. It is really quite sad see how happy just a friendly few words makes them feel.
