What kind of books do you read? Who are your favorite authors? Why?
I recently started reading books again. It's been a really long time since the last time I read a book. It gives me some satisfaction to read. It relaxes me, and I just like to read good books. I would like to know what people on here like to read. I hope you can share. Thanks in advance.

When I was teens I liked reading books of romance as this was the age of fancies and full of imaginative love lol...
When I got older I then liked science fictions most as they were creative and adventurous.
After marriage I began to love books of culinary as they were quite useful for me then.
When I was expecting my first baby I liked books of parenting from which I could get much knowledge and guidance of baby care.
At present in my leisure I would like to read documental books. Recently I start to reread the long story of Sherlock Holmes’, “The Hound of the Baskervilles”.

I used to read lot of books in my college days. My office work and internet surfing made me to read less. I have read all Harry Potter books. I am now waiting to read her latest book which will be released shortly. The author Rowling is fantastic.

Sorry, to hear that. Do you wear glasses? Maybe you can wear them to make reading more pleasurable.

I like to read historical, paranormal, and magical romance books. But lately they seem to all be doing the vampire thing. I like Patricia Rice's magic series. Those women and men are so much fun. Christina Feehan (spelling?)'s Jungle Rain is very cool. She can really make you imagine and feel shapeshifting. I wish she had done more books like that one.
