What is the longest you ahve gone without cleaning your house?

Oh wow! My house gets cleaned if I'm lucky once a week. Granted it's only two of us here though. But when I was working I didn't feel like coming home and cooking and then cleaning too. The working part was too draining - especially on third shift. Now if I didn't work I would clean it everyday.

Oh when I hurt my back (herniated disc) i think the house went uncleaned for the longest time maybe a week or even more. I did little bits or what I could do but the rest like vacuuming, dusting, ironing etc was left unattended for ages. Our house was a complete shambles and I was so glad we had NO visitors during that time.

I've got to be pretty sick or in labor (lol) not to clean some areas of my house daily. The kitchen, computer room, my bedroom & my office are always pretty much clean. I wouldn't be able to function if they weren't. But when it comes to areas like the toy room, the laundry room, and our living room; I can get really overwhelmed by the mess & put those rooms off for days or even weeks. I hate laundry the most, and any excuse is a good excuse to put it off until tomorrow. The toy room just gets trashed too quickly for me to keep up with it and my son needs lots of hand-holding & reminding to do it himself.

I think the more appropriate question for me would be what is the shortest amount of time you have gone between cleaning your house. :) I actually picked up the living room this morning! :) Normally, I only clean about once a week. The kitchen gets cleaned more regularly, but the other rooms usually go for a while before I decide that they need to be cleaned.
