This just got me thinking, as I've been sturggling for the last two days now looking for a topic of that attracts me. I've been seeing members, some new and others old, that post their replies without proper knowledge of what the subject is all about.
As I've been seeing members who just respond for their two cents and not helping the discussion at hand, as a result they (respondent) are the one's who got whooped and bashed at!;) I really feel sorry for this types of people, maybe they are just simply ignorant or maybe desperate to achieve the payment cut-off.
A lesson that you should learn, especially for newbies. If you have nothing good to say or contribute to a discussion, better turn your computer's off and do something more fruitful in your lives!LoL
MYLOT is a network to learn, contribute/share and meet friends, not JUST a MONEY-MAKING SITE!
Good day to all, enjoy posting and God bless..

Normally, I would only respond to discussions that I find comfortable in responding. I do not believe in making a one-liner kind of responses and I find it funny why some mylotters responded to the discussions as if they are just trying to gain that extra $$ without having any real input in it... I would agree with you that if you have nothing fruitful to reply please don't bother... I think it's much more meaningful to read a respond with good inputs and ideas rather just a one-liner... Sorry, this is what I feel they should do.....

Yes, I totally agree with what you have to say. Thankfully, I have been lucky enough to have some very intelligent responses to my own discussions. Perhaps people don't read the guidelines carefully enough. The discussions are supposed to evoke an incentive to have a dialogue on a certain subject matter. More than once I have seen people bash each other for a differing opinion. Like you, I come here to be enlightened and I can only hope that my fellow mylotters will do the same.

I agree in part of what your saying in terms of not having a clue of what the discussion is about and just posting for the sake of posting. I don't think this will change any time soon though.
Don't forget we use to be newbies too and when you join something for the first time, you need to get a feel for it and sometimes some newbies go overboard and just post because they will get a cent here and there. Eventually (some of us) get a feel for it and try to post more deeper and meaningful discussions. SOmetimes some of us don't have the knack for this and post easier one line questions and its up to those to respond, if you don't like what they post then skip and move on. All of us a different and we will continue to do things differently no matter what. Some of us think its more than a money making site, and others think its a place to make money regardless of what we say, so ... I hear you raijin!

It's really hard reading through all those topics we receive, then every once in a while you see a reply that's a copy/paste, one-liners or simply off topic.
I think most of the members here are missing the real goal of mylot, that's why lots of posts are being deleted, points are deducted and earnings are affected..

Hello, raijin, when i am replying to discussions,i will only give my response if i have something to say to the discussions,if i am not familar with those topics or i do not have any knowledge on them,i will just skip them.
I do not mind some people tell me they have no ideas on something or are not clear on those issues,i am happy to discuss with them, but I do not know what i can do if someone just copy and paste a very long reply or the internet which is totally irrelevant to my discussion topic.

In my opinion, I never rule out some could be posting for money. However, some could be genuinely ignorant of the topic but just want to participate in the discussion for one reason or another. Some could have understood the topic but want to try responding in a creative way and unknowingly went off the point. Since myLot is also meant to be a learning platform, perhaps we could be more accomodative of these learning friends. If they continually and persistently continue to behave thus, myLot would surely step in.

Yes, mylot is a learning site. I apply what I learn here, share them and also give my best to help mylot weed out offenders by reporting them.
Mylot has not been the same as it was back then, that's why I make sure that people should also do their part to contribute in this site..
