Why no guy won in PBB?

I would say there is some truth to what you said. There seems to be a trend that we are shifting from favoring a chinese looking pinoys than what we had used to several decades ago where Pinoys prefer a spanish looking mestizas. Nowadays the chinita look is becoming a new criteria for beauty. As for Bea and Kim and we may include our former Korean turned pinoy star krung-krung. They all have the same beauty chinitas. As an added trivia I have heard from my fellow bicolanos that even the bicol business chinese chamber did made an effort to really vote and campaign Bea during the Final round that is why she won the PBB.

Thank you rsa101 for understanding my comment about this, that I just posted a possibility not a fact. Not all people look "only" at the personality of a person. Of course, people also look at the physical aspects of a person. It's like when you buy a product.. You look at it first before you buy diba? Kasi, looks matters. But when you experience the product, the question in your mind will be: will you go for the other or will you be loyal to it?.. Isn't it obvious that there is a large number of pinoy TV-viewers nowadays who are really fond of chinita-type people? I mean any person who looks beautifully unique is more interesting than the typical type especially if that unique person is having a very interesting life story. And why are TV channels still shows Chinese/Japanese/Korean TV shows? Because there is a big audience for it. So it's wrong to say that there is "nothing to do" with the gender and the looks because it also matters. I'm not saying that my statement is all correct because it's not a fact, just possibilities.
