Have you ever been so happy that you cried?

Yes, I cried at my children's births. What can make a person happier, and those joyful tears are like the release of 9 months of wonderment and hopefullness that have been growing inside of you. Also the day I married my husband. The site of him waiting for me to walk down the isle to give myself to him and him to me was a blessing to us both and the beginning of our new lives, and God knew I needed that.

recently, my oldest nephew went to his senior prom...when I saw how big he gotten and how good he looked, I thought about when I was 8 and he was a baby following me around in his walker..wanting me to play with him...I remembered how hard he came up being abused and everything and how much he loved my mother (his grandmother) and just how much he misses her since she's been gone..I was so happy that he is finally old enough to take care of himself that I cried for a little while..kids grow up so quickly..seems like just yesterday I was in high school myself..now here I am going to be 25 in 14 days...
