Does God exist?

Who created God?If we say that God has always been,why not save a step and conclude that the universehas always been?If there is a God and if he is loving and merciful God,how do you explain the problems of suffering and death and all tragedies that happen to people?I am not Atheist.I believe in God.Is there is any answer to these questions?

yeah, this is a great book. answered ALOT of questions... i have a 'crisis' of faith every now and again and i'll pick up that book and it really helps get me focused back again. you ever read that book of joel osteen's? he's a little too "feel good" for me for the most part, but his book really helped me during a very dark time... he's only got one out so far... 'your best life now' but i highly recommend it just to make yourself feel better! :-D

God is a man made fictional character like Harry Potter or Homor Simpson, There are so many conflicting accounts of what is basically one fair story

No I dont believe in god, When something bad happens people ask god for help, and when help doesnt come they say Oh it must of been gods will,
When famin, droughts and wars wipe out millions the god mockers say god works in mysterious ways,
Its just my opinion but i think its all a big fairy tale god & jesus and all that cult crap. Religion states that god made the world in 7 days well we know for a fact thats rubish we have scientific evidence to prove evolution.
If there was this all mighty force why would be be so petty to condem you to hell for carnal thoughts, and other silly little sins.
The bible was created to control people We dont need some book to tell us we shouldnt kill people and its not nice to hurt people.
More people die in gods name in all these holy wars and religious nutters than any other cause

Yes, God exist for me because i have faith in him.. the suffering and tragedies comes in our life is god's test, if you will ask for his help he's always there.. i have so much things to share about this topic, but i'm afraid i can't deliver it in straight english... there are lots of short stories that made me realize that god do exist only if you seek for him..

You know what..this is one of the questions in life that no one can really answer with certainty. No one can tell because these things depends on your faith and beliefs.
I choose to believe that there is a god.

these questions have been asked as long as anyone can remember, God is faith to me, someone I have never seen but I believe he exists...I believe we made all our own choices and strayed from him, the result being the existance of evil in our world..There are no answers its all a matter of what you believe in your heart.

If I thought with my mind I probably would have doubts but I think with my faith and believe, we all need something to hold onto in this cruel world, so I give my faith to God. And faith to me is believing in the seen and unseen....

This question has no answer. Your first question was "Who created God?" If somebody has an answer to that then all the things we know about God will be false. Religion says that God is the most powerful. If there is someone who created God then there definitely God is not the most powerful. The most powerful will be the one who created God and therefore religions are worshiping the wrong God. You get it? :-)
Let's assume that the answer to "Who created God?" is NONE. Then again the religious teachings about GOD will be false because many religions says that their teachings are what GOD wants us to know. They're just messengers. So, what do they teach? They say that EVERYTHING HAS A BEGINNING AND AN END. If no one created GOD then this statement is completely false.
I have to admit, I don't believe in the idea of having an omnipotent GOD. I believe in this old saying that:
"God did not create man in his image, man created God in his. If oxen and horses can sculpt and draw like men, then, oxen will sculpt their God like ox and horses like horse."
