fallout weapons

you know a lot of fallout weapons as minigun , smg , bozar , pulse rifle , sniper rifle etc. what are you thinking about this weapons .i have played fallout , fallout 2 and fallout tactics .you know i think in early game best choice is small guns as desert egale and smg then big guns as rifle and miniguns but at late game best weapons is energy weapons like pluse rifle or plasma rifle.and i think most of meele weapons are useless.
