Do you believe gambling on the State Lottery is worth the risk?

There are so many ways especially designed to extract money from the poor people under the pretense of be beneficial to a few. The system has gone so far as to include a monetary benefit to the education system in order to justify the high risk of losing. Many schools are in receipt of said benefits but they just don't happen to be in the areas that they are most needed. How many people do you personally know that have hit lotto? Sure you spend thousands each year and are content with winning a few hundred now and then but when you see more schools in the poverty stricken areas closing and more prisons being built and more children dropping out to the school system and entering the prison system in our areas then you can't help but wonder where is the money for our schools? Is it really worth it? Do you think it would be better to save up and donate specifically to the schools of your choice or petition a listing of the donations made to schools in our areas or do you even care?

I play when the jackpot is high, but no more than 5 tickets. I've had a family member win or match 3/4 of the daily 4 drawings, which gave her a couple hundred to couple thousand dollars, but I've never known anyone to match more than one or two balls during the big state or multi-state lotteries.

Could you imagine how many people play and don't hit anything now times that by $1.00 per chance and see who gets the benefits.

No, I do not gamble at all. I do not buy any tickets for a state lottery not either. I have many years ago but I did never win a thing. So I quit and save the money for the tickets. I have never met anybody who has won a considerable amount of money not either. For me it is a waste of money.

and that is the consensus for few but many receive a small penance and it is enough to feed the fire of chance. I know one person and many more who have lost their families and homes and cars and jewelry chasing the hope of winning you are not only wise but luckier than most.
