I used to put body lotion after bath all over my body. I really love scented lotion like Victoria secret orange scents and Bath and Body Works Pleasure I really love those scents. Sometimes even inside my bag I used to carry it whenever I go, I'll just transfer a little amount in small container and after hand washing I used to put it in my hands. I do encourage my two daughters too, to put lotions always for their skin will get smooth and protect it from being dry.
How about you guys do you put body lotions or oil after taking a bath?

I used to do this before, but when I started working I got discouraged. Why? First, if your work involves a lot of activity, the lotion tends to attract dust and you end up smelling like dirt and smoke rather than sweet and lovely.
Plus, the heat of the sun makes it slimy and you tend to have darker complexion. Plus this causes my sweat to be more sticky than usual. And lastly, I think my skin suffocates from the lotion's oil.
So, instead of putting on lotion in the morning. I usually do it before I go to bed. To enable my skin to absorb it while resting.
Plus, I use soft perfumes or colognes in the morning to keep me fresh all day.

Yeah, for sunblock I use Coppertone's Water Based formula. It's not sticky, nor can you feel that you put something. It's refreshing and easily absorbs. It doesn't have any oil in it.
But I don't use it often. Some expert says sunblocks contain something that would probably cause skin cancers if often used. Well, I don't know bout that but better safe than sorry.
Thanks for the reply.

In my hurry to leave for my office...I forget to put body lotion most of the time. But whenever I do...it feels good and lovely.

Thanks for sharing, I have a friend too that she only used lotion when she saw me applying and sometimes I encourage her coz I saw her skin is too rough and I don't want her to make embarrassed If I told so thats why I give her.
Have a nice day...

I use body lotion all over my body after a bath. I am used to applying baby oil on my hair, and olay cream on my face...I agree. Lotions will make our skin smooth, silky and soft...so it's a must to use lotion after a bath...

Yes, I always apply lotion or body cream after taking a bath. I have read somewhere that applying moisturizer after a shower is effective to moisturize your skin, rather than applying if your skin is dry. Using lotion while your skin is slightly dry will be much more effective because the pores of your skin is still open from taking a shower. The moisturizer will penetrate easily in your skin.
