Let's keep a sense of proportion you stand more chance of getting knocked down crossing the road. What part of the UK are you planning on seeing? all the best urban

Considering your are many many more times likely to be in a car accident than be killed by a terrorist I would not let it stop you. This is indeed what they want to happen. While no one can guarantee you will have no problem it is unlikely you will. If when you get there it seems that the terrorism steps up just stay away from very public places until it is safe. This would be a great trip for most people. It would be a shame to pass it up unless you are flexible as to when you can go. I too think you will be fine however.

Can only agree wholeheartedly with everything you have said. Very sound advise.

Unfortunately thats what terrorism is designed to do frighten people. My daughter is getting married in a few weeks and we have planned a shopping trip to London. I said to her shall we give it a miss. She said if we change our plans because of it we are giving in to fear. The advice we have been given on the media here is to continue of with life as normal. Life is so full of things that could harm us, car accidents, ill health, and so on but we have to keep going or else we would just do nothing.
