Halo on the X-Box or PC, which do you prefer?

Here is an interesting question nevertheless. Who has played both versions of Halo? I have actually played both of them and the question comes as to which one do you like more? I like the X-Box one more because I'm very used to it. I like to use a controller more for this type of game that I would probably with a keyboard. I don't have the right type of controller for it yet to play on a PC.
Though I do like the online play of Halo with some different maps and can interact with people. I'm sure it can be done on both versions but probably pretty different.
With Halo on the X-Box, what weapon do you like to use exactly? I like to use a Shotgun for quick kills within close range. The Rocket Launcher is perfect for long range and can blow stuff up.
Which Halo do you like more and why?

halo on the pc is the best because you have better aiming, with an xbox controller it is harder to aim i think, i like both though but i prefer pc!!
i just wish halo 3 would come out on the pc lol

I'm sure Halo 3 will be out for PC, just don't know when exactly. I'm guessing somewhere close to the actual release of it on the 360.
I haven't really had much of a shot with the PC Version though I'm used to a conroller. I guess I could give the PC Version of Halo a shot and also play online with it.

i prefer the Xbox youll hav a well balanced graphic veiw of the game unlike the PC versions its hardly close to the likeliness of the Xbox version, the Assualt rifle is the best choice for me even the pistol that almost like a sniper. i prefer the Halo 1 story side but i love the Halo 2 multiplayer action

That is true. It is more well balanced on the Xbox version than the PC. I like the story mode of Halo. I haven't really played much of the online play with it yet.

I prefer the tv. I like to snipe, I like the pistol, I like reg grenades when I'm being sneaky. I drop the shields of the Elites with the plasma pistol, then shoot them down with the assault rifle. I only like #1 and I don't like multi-player. We have Halo parties at my house and I stay in my room watching tv. But, I'm always up for a level-by-level run-through on Legendary, even when I'm by myself. Yes, I know it's repeatitive, but it's always fun. The hardest part is at the end when you gotta blow up the reactors with the rocket launcher, while fending off 343 and the Maw. Then you get in the warthog and drive for your life. It's insane.

I know what you mean. That area is not exactly the easiest. I haven't gotten up to legendary mode. I've done it on normal mode. Haven't had a chance to try another mode to see if I can top that and be ready until I go for the ultimate level.

i personally prefer the version on the xbox. the only reason i have for that is that i've had more time to get used to the controls. the pc versian is also good

I agree as well. I have gotten used to the conrols so much. That's also why I perfer the X-Box more so than the PC Version.

I love halo, however i have only played on xbox, i also have halo parties and ive beaten it on legendary, i like the pistol more on halo 1 but in halo 2 you can dual weild so i guess they are about equal for me, its always a fun game to play, they halo parties that i usually go to, end up in people fighting, just for fun tho,

I would say beating it on legendary is pretty impressive. The pistol isn't bad to start out with exactly.

Ok, so instead of getting in a fight like i always do, i was a level 23 in halo 3 beta, on the 360 if you did not know what ti come out on, A level 37 legit on halo 2 on the 360/xbox and i sucked at regular halo. But if i had to chose, i would say the computer, the precise controlling with the mouse and keyboard can just not be beat. That simply. :P

Thanks for responding. It is an interesting point with the keyboard and mouse, it does allow for more precise aiming, never really thought of that.

I like the xbox for like single player or 2 player, but pc for things like modding and massive players

I love the X-box version of Halo and I honestly do not think I could play it on the PC because I have to have a controller to play,and I agree I love the shotgun,and it is my favorite weapon,especially against the flood, and it makes them fall like bowling pins lol,even though the rocket launcher is also good if you are facing a group of enemies,even though the grenades do just as well.
