Why does everyone look like my ex-girlfriend

I left my ex because she was an alcoholic, and very controlling. that was over a year ago. I am trying very, very hard to move on. I even have several others that I like. But I keep seeing these women (lesbians) who look almost just like her.
Is there anything I can do. I am going to stay away from my ex, becasue no matter how I feel about her, I will not go back to that terrible situation....how can I forget her?

Losing a loved one takes time to heal, whether a person is lesbian or straight. Sometimes if a partner is also your best friend, your heart will suffer a double portion of pain. Best of luck finding a suitable replacement for the one that you left. I am sure you are better off without them. But I know that your heart tells you otherwise.

Hi Pheonix6209, Well, it sounds to me like you miss her alot. That doesnt mean you should go back, it just means you miss her. I'm not sure you can or should forget about her, after all, you was with her she cant be all bad, right? I would say that its time you move on and find someone else or something else to keep your mind ocupied. Find some way to keep busy Best of luck to you, Terry

You need to sit down and ask yourself if you are still in Love with her.You need to search your heart deeply.Then write down on a paper why you think you don't want her in your life again.
