How many books do you have that you have not read?

I often find myself in a conversation where a book is brought up that I own but have not read. I think that I am a habitual book buyer. I buy books all the time with the full intention of reading them, I just never seem to get around to it. I even have a book on overcoming procrastination. I let someone borrow it a long time ago. They have not read or returned it yet. :-)

LOL--you and me both....I have to admit I've tapered down in my book buying over the years...first I think more cause I plain don't have the room anymore, and I much more selective now of the books I buy..it it's fictional books then I'll just take out of the library..but some books I do want my own copy of--I used to belong to every book club known to mankind..LOL...but even tapered off from getting books from there...Nowadays if there is a book I really want I'll go to Amazon.com and can get books a fraction of the cost--why pay say $35 when you can get a book for maybe $5

I can only buy second-hand books, which most of the times I only borrow some from my friends. Right now, I bought two books that I haven't yet read. Another one which I borrowed from a friend, though I still haven't had enough time to continue reading it.
I read only when I am in the mood, to understand the story better and for my imagination to work!;)

I've had books for years that I have not yet read. I have about 20 books that I have gotten in the last 12 months and haven't read yet. I collect books, as well. My goal is to read everything in my collecton, but I don't expect that to happen until after I retire!

Oh my gosh I love your discussion topics I could answer them all accept I have to go now. How many books have I read that i have in my house? I am ashamed to say! LOL I am not a reader but I want to be. I have some really good books I know because I read the intro. I say I can't wait to read them but then I don't take the time! I have to many to say without being embarrassed! I did make myself read one about 5 months ago now! I intend to make myself read another soon. LOL One down and at least 15 others to go. It is probably more I have not counted! LOL

I've losted count of the number of books i've bought but not yet gotten around to reading. I went through a phase of buying loads of books of amazon and then became really busy with studying and never got around to reading them!
My library is good for some books, but it doesn't stock many no best seller US books, as i'm in the UK!

I do have a rather good library and I have read most of the books in it. I do not buy fiction books because I want to know the truth about these things. I am also the librarian for the fish club that I belong to, and there are about 200 books there. Mu personal library probably has close to 1000 books in it. My girlfriend has her won books and I would sy that she probably has as many books of her won as I do.

We have a fairly large library. I think the only books I HAVEN'T read are my husband's technical manuals. That would be about 12 books.
When I was unemployed, I got in the book boxes and read every single novel we have.

I have a pile of books that I haven't read yet, but I'm going through them, but always adding more to the pile. I don't ever have none to read. I've currently got about 20 books in that pile, as for books I own that I'm never going to read, probably about 15 of them.
