Do you follow a routine everyday?Do you do the same task , eat lunch with the same people, come and leave at the same time by the same route? If you have been doing this for years, its probably a comfortable and stressfree routine. You know how quickly you get to work, what to expect and who you will see and speak with mostly during the day.But another way to see a "routine" is to view it as a rut.Stop existing and start growing.Do things differently and do different things.THATS PART OF GROWTH.

I try to follow the routine.
But it sometimes depends on the time and the most urgent needs.
I can't follow the routine.
If I do based on the routine, it makes me more relaxed than rushed.
I expect my work to be finish as much as I can.
I will meet my family after work to enjoy the quality of life more.
I try to cope with a lot of different things and I do things differently at the start because I want to test it first.

Yeah and I'm only in high school, the days that are somewhat going to be the best days of your life. I do the same thing everyday. Wake up the same way, do the same thing in every class, nothing, in nutrition I just stand waiting for school to finish. In P.E. I try to find a way to leave early. Lunch, same thing as nutrition. And in history just talk to a girl and copy her work. And it's all going to happen again since I'm going to summer school.

i never use to go to a routine, things were done just whenever, but not im working (in a childcare) and a routine is really important and i found life much easier to go from a routine, but one day when things go out of wack my whole day i think will be muddled up lol. but its good to do things differently.

'Growing' - I dont think you strictly meant business and career. Ya, you are right, when life becomes so routine, life becomes lifeless and colorless. It becomes so insipid that we start lossing hope and existence. Although my routine is same, when i feel its enough i immidiately switch my job to some other city. And when i get so used to that life over there, i call 'switch'. This is one way i keep myselfy away from routine. And i do pursue my hobbies when it gets bored.

Hi durga_tnn,
I think I read your mind, I planned on leaving my current job this week for about a month ago to start making an income on my own by online selling, locally and some money making opportunities I'm taking advantage of.
Life is as short as an eye blink, so I'll try to live it at the fullest, stop my daily routine which was very helpful by teaching me what I didn't wanted to do for the rest of my days.
You have a great day !!!

Routine? what is that? The only thing that I do routinely is to show up on my job when I am supposed to! My job is not routine. I deal with the public and its all different every day and every minute. Not one thing in my life gives any semblence to routine. How I crave for predictability! Ok maybe I exagerate a bit. I do brush and floss each day. I do fit in a shower each day but it is not always at the top of the morning as I would like. hmmm...nope. my life is really not routine at all. i despise appointments and such and do keep them t0 a minimum.
