Today i got email from redeem_donotreply@e-gold.com that say my e-gold account receive $50 gift and in the there's a link should i click to redeem the gift. When i click the link its open e-gold login website, but there's something strange with the e-gold page. first, in the right side of e-gold number column there's email address colum, then the passphrase buttong can't be click so i have to fill it manual using the keyboard and the last strange thing is the verify number never change. cause i try to click the link twice and i saw the verify number doesn't change.
after i fill all the forms and the page load and its say SORRY YOUR GIFT IS EXPIRED after that i think this is a fraud. but i have no worry because my e-gold account is empty, just $0.22.
With this experienced, i only can tell you just be carefull with your e-gold account

You need to pay more attention to emails you receive. There are many emails that seem to come from e-gold and paypal and they are only fakes, they give a fake link to a similar page, you try to login and they keep your password so they can access your account.
I never saw e-gold giving me a gift for nothing but I've already received a bonus from paypal for no reason at all. I was checking my account and I noticed there was a payment of $1.50 from paypal. I don't know why it happened but I did receive the money.
