Is it really important to add comments to those who respond our discussions?

yes...i really do give them some commendation, so as a gift for their effort in responding to your discussions.....it is a way of letting them know that you have read thei reactions/comments, thus giving them an idea that you either agree or disagree with them....

Posting discussion and expecting response should not become business. One should really get involved in what they are talking about. Chances are one of your discussion topic or many of them might receive very interesting and thought provoking response to which you ought to comment, complimenting the persons who have given respnses. I always make it a point to give comment to the responses I receive for my discussion topics.

I wouldn't feel bad. I rarely comment on responses. We do not get paid anything for comments and it is too time consuming. I do go through and read all the responses, rate them and choose a best response and I don't feel bad about it.

I add comments to some, but sometimes I am unable to post comments to others. It really depends sometimes there might be responses that are so similar that I figure why be repetitious and just respond to one.

I don't know about the money side of adding comments here. But I do make comments to many of the responses in my discussions as I wish to make conversation with the respondents. I think they would be happy to check back and see that I really read their stuff and put up my comments there for them. That way I get to know other mylottians better too! I think you could do it with your free time with no guilty, I mean, we all understand that we all have things to attend to at times and we can't be here to chat all the time. No worries!

Personally, I think that it is better to add comments to those who respond to our discussions to show my respect to them for their spending time in responding to mine. This is what we Chinese people say: If someone treats you well, you will do something in return to repay him. I really appreciate those who add comments to my discussions as well as respond to mine. 3. I tried to add comments to those respond my discussion. The reason for me to do it like this is I want to show my respect to them.

I think it is a courtsey to give a response if somebody respond to my discussion,though it is absolutely my personal opinion.

Well I mean, it isn't vital. But it is common courtesy. They took time to respond to me, I like to respond back. And more often than not I HAVE something I WANT to say in regards to what they said. Sometimes I respond back and forth with someone a few times! :)

I'd say that if you can't think of something in response, then a simple thank you for your comments would be OK with me. Just to show you read and appreciate the time taken to read and comment on your discussion. It's not always easy to find something to say back, but I alwasy like to thak someone for their comments.

Hmm for me it is something important that I comment every single response to my discussions and even my other responses! I think that people like to know that someone actually read their response and has something to say about it. Furthermore, I do not make the comment short but rather actually think about what I am going to write and I take my time with it. This I think attracts more people to my discussions and makes me more friends! Rated +.

Ah, I will always add comments to those who respont my discussions, but sometimes they are too esoteric perspctive,I don't know how to answer,not answered, but whether or not I participate in the discussions, I will give everyone a boost/

i think those respont my discussions.i must reply to the comment they express.those respont reply is a part and parcel of my thought.

I reply to some of them, but not all of them. Sometimes no response is needed. But I suppose it is nice for the people to know that you read their comment....

I think it's a kind behavior to add comments to those who respond to the discussion. As they spend time replying to you. It's a polite way to say something back to them. I like to add comments, too.

personally, i think it is important that we give our comments to those who responded to our discussions. well, maybe at least to acknowledge their responses...however, not all responses are worth the comments (if you know what i mean).

i also do mylot only during my free time so i find it hard to add comments to the responses to the discussion i have started. probably if i have earned more points then i will start addingt comments. hope it happens soon
