i am outraged at the amount of near misses i experience while driving and being a passenger in the car. there are more accidents happening, with people dying or being seriously injured in car crashes than there are murders, terrorism, drowning or fires! its so dangerous and we put our lives at risk like this everyday. i think i'll try and walk a little bit more, and take the bus....

that's right! it's so scary. luckily i have never been in an accident, touch wood! i just think it's sad that people only get concerned about things when it happens to them, it's something we should all be aware of...

I think that you are exaggerating... it's not so dangerous to drive... it's true that there are a lot of mad people on the road but still... it's not so dangerous

i had a bad accident on a freeway in Vic, a guy just suddenly cut in and s..t happend in a blink. i hate road rage and i would pull over for a while when i saw it, but i had a nice experience on the long way from melb to perth, drivers so nice and greeting each other on the road in the mid of outback.

i'm glad you were okay...and got to perth safely!! i have heard about drivers in the outback waving to each other while on the road.. the outback can be a scary place aswell, so it's good when people look out for each other.. as long as you stay away from wolf creek!
