At a chinese place here in Hot Springs, they have a wonderful Lemon Chicken. They use the crispy battered chicken as they do with sweet and sour. They serve it with your choice of fried or steamed rice. I prefer steamed with this dish. The sauce is really thick and sweet but it has this lemony tang that sets off the sweetness and the hot crispy chicken.

My husband also likes the Orange Chicken. It is on their spicy menu and I don't prefer it.
Some years ago, I got some sliced beef in a rich brown gravy. I don't know what the name of it was, and I've not been able to find it again.

I seldom eat outside unless I stay away from home during vacation. Yeah, last week my hubby and I had visited a Chinese restaurant and we ordered our favorite meals respectively. Mine were chicken herb soup and roast pork rice whereas my husband were vegetarian fried rice and sweet and sour fish. After that we shared a bowl of chinese dessert (gui ling gao). The foods served there were really delicious.

Beef with broccoli is one of the most popular recipes I order when we dine at Chinese restaurants. I also like their Chop Suey, which is mixed vegetables and Chow Mein which is made with soft noodles.

that's cholesteral laden and artery clogging! but agree it's yums.
personally, I think my fav in a chinese rest would have to be.... peking duck!!!! the crispy skin, the thin layer of fats melting into the meat...
guess it's just as unhealthy if not more so. but perhaps the conscience soothing vege strips is supposed to make up for that haha!

I usually get special or (combination) rice. It's fried rice with pork, chicken, beef , and shrimp in it. It's really good. I also like to taste their chicken wings, some places they are very good.
