O my goodness!! One of my female colleague came in hurry, taking a great sigh of relief and asked for water to drink. It was beyond understanding that what happened to her. Upon inquiring it was told that she was standing at the Bus Stop while she found a stranger was constantly staring at her. She had to change two or more places in order divert her attention. It was just the after effects of this incident ..... very sad! It made me think that why she was unable to overcome her fear of being "un-safe" or alone. Probably it was her lack of confidence!!
How do you people do if you see such situation instead? I would like to be straight and ask other if he/she has some misunderstanding?
Please share! Thanks.

If I see someone staring at me the first thing I do is check if there's something on my clothes or stuff like that.
If nothing is wrong there can be two reasons the person is looking at me: it likes or dislikes the way I look.
If the person likes what it sees, let them watch, if not, I really don't care... I feel pretty good with myself and don't really care what other people think

I am a very blunt straightforward person myself. So in that kind of situation I would be asking the person why he or she is staring and if there is a problem. I am not the kind of person to walk away in fear unless the situation really warrants it. I won't start a fight, but I refuse to let someone intimidate me either.

I think the bestway to avoid a constantly staring stranger is to ignore him. We should forget him once we find him staring us. If we keep checking him he will concentrate more and will scare you. It is a psychological approach. He is trying to establish dominance above you. That can be read from his eyes at the first instant. Once we realise it, we should totaly avoid watching or peeping him. Then he will be left withno option but to look for some other victim.
