How long you would take to forgive people?

We're all only human created by God equally and forgive us in every sin we've done but why it is so hard to forgive people around us that brought pain to us? Have you ever feel the same way? We sacrifice for the sake of friendship.. but is friendship always the measurement to forgive??

It really depends on what they have done. Little things are easy to forgive but sometimes for larger things where there was a direct intention to cause pain it is sometimes harder to forgive, especially if it was a friend who did it. I think I see the whole friendship the other way around. I think the better firends you are, the harder it is to forgive them, because they were willing to destroy a friendship to get what they wanted, whereas a stranger has no knowledge of you
