I'm thinking of buying a product on ebay but I am wondering if a seller doesn't send its product? How can I prevent such thing? Do we need to bid a product? I don't want to do any auction at all on ebay. Is it possible? Having to bid first, it is a waste of time.

Dear friendship
Go ahead if you are thinking of buying a product on ebay .. It's a safe site .. I used to sell on ebay as well as I do shopping on ebay. Yes the things which you need to take care are :
You should check the seller's reputation -- go to his/her profile -- read the comments given by the user .. look out for how much negative the member has received so far .. and what were the ratings .. after doing this research .. if u think that you should do purchasing from that seller then you should go ahead without any second thought. Well I don't think it's a waste of time .. buyers love to enter in an auctions.

The whole concept of Ebay is auction. Within the last few years however sellers have been able to set up stores on ebay. How that works I am not sure but you still have the concern of getting the product you paid for.
The concept of Paypal is that it controls payment of any product that you have used it to buy. No money is released to the seller until you the buyer have received the product and tell them to relieve the money. Of course if you choose another form of payment you do not have that guarantee.
As for the auction. A seller will often have a reserve price that must be met before they have to sell it. Some sellers do not use this as they are willing to take what ever they get. When you make a bid you should always bid the highest amount you are willing to pay after there has been at least one bid. Ebay then will take your bid and only apply enough of it to cover the last bid plus a few cents more. This continues until you are out bid or the action is over. No other bidders will see how much you bid and if your lucky you could spend less than you bid.
Check out Paypal to verify what I say. Do the same with Ebay. People who sell on Ebay are rated by the people they already have sold to. Look for that to see how reliable they have been.
If bidding is not for you then may guess is that Ebay is not either.

I have buyed several products from Ebay and received them too.Its very safe and secure process from where you can purchase your products without any risk. You should keep in mind before buying a product from a seller that the seller you are buying your product has good reputation on the site.On Ebay you can safely buy your products in many ways including online payment with paypal or from credit card. After you purchase a product from ebay its the responsibility of ebay to make this transaction possible. If then also you do not receive your product in estimated time then you can complain it to ebay and the rest of the work will be done the the website.

Sellers have to sell their product once someone has placed a bid on the product. This is part of the rules with eBay. To not sell... the seller has to come up with a very good excuse... otherwise eBay might ban it from selling again.
Sellers and buyers have to maintain a good reputation on eBay if they want to keep using eBay. If a buyer has a bad reputation for not buying after bidding... it will also get ban.
You can purchase any product straight away for the full price if it has an icon "buy now".
If you are looking for a bargain... auctions are the way to go.
Sellers use auctions for two reasons...
Either they have something very rare and valuable and they know that people will fight over it. In that case... the auction is likely to go higher than the price he has in mind... so the profit is bigger.
But most auctions are about products that the seller really wants to sell at any price. Usually the seller is prepare to sell at the starting bidding price.
Those sellers who sell something worth $200 with an opening bid of $1 knows that many people will bid on it and bring the price up close to $200. They mostly do that with very popular articles like electric tools and home appliances.

Yes check the sellers feedback, use toolhaus.org, this is a great tool.
If you don't want to wait find auctions with Buy It Now.
Always pay with Paypal with a credit card, if the seller doesn't send it you can get your money back from Paypal or your credit card if Paypal can't.
