Recently Sterling Testing Systems placed external verification staff on "hold" which in truth, amounted to laying off the entire department. Sterling was not honest about the true motive behind this move, which was to move all work internally and to India.

This totally sucked, and after a year of working for them, suddenly unemployed and no warning, it really wreakes havok on a pocketbook when you got used to that paycheck. Atleast with some warning, you could start saving and putting $$ back, as well as looking for other options.
