I had to ask, it is a top article on MSN this morning. I'll tell you how I feel about the whole situation. A boss is someone who gets YOU to work, and makes more than you too. do you think it is fair? here's the poll from MSN; "In all fairness, bosses aren't as evil as pop culture describes them. Most Americans (58 percent) who work for someone else say they like their boss, according to a new MSN-Zogby poll. And 14 percent even consider their boss a personal friend. But not everyone has such warm feelings for their workplace supervisor – 18 percent said they just tolerate their boss, while 5 percent say they just can't stand who they work for." so, in conclusion, how do you feel about your boss? let's start our own Mylot poll!

My boss is totally great! He is like a father to me! Both he and his wife treat me like family. He is one of the most generous people I have ever met. I am so blessed to work for him! I actually enjoy coming in to work every morning.

You have to work for them that you really do not have to like them. But you should appreciate them giving you the opportunity to work for their company. That they want you to get their products out in the public. It depends on a lot of things because manager or bosses can have different personality then your own. I feel like we shouldnt get to close to the bosses because they could cover up for you but get the rest of the crew into trouble. For example, At my old job I was asst manager and a another crew member was friends with the general manager and because she was a allowing that crew to do whatever she wanted that she was not getting into trouble but yet i got more accused stealing money then that crew. So no dont get close to your bosses.

I was an Assistant Manager as well, for several businesses in the past. Theft in the company was a big deal, But my rule of thumb is to NEVER steal from an employer, because that is just disrespectful, and is never worth your job. Employees who steal from Employers make me extremely uncomfortable, because you never know who the boss is going to blame. as a regular employee, I was accused once of stealing 60$ from my own till, and was fired from that job. I knew who did it, it was the assistant manager, who was a fill in for that week. So, I went to headquarters, and reported him. they moved me to a different department, gave me a different job and gave me a raise. The Manager never apologised though for his actions of firing me, and I lost a weeks pay. that still burns!

Yeah but i was accused by the district manager. I told her what they were doing and stuff. Because the general manager was allowing her to take money out of the till and it is not fair. But I guess the district manager agree with the general manager but it is okay.

Yeah I like my boss ive had no problems with him and hes pretty nice to me even though there are some things I dont agree with him like letting me listen to music when I go out and do carts I think its kind of stupid that rule that people cant listen to music when they do carts but for the most part I like him and I get a long with him.

Do carts? you mean, like pickup carts from the parking lot? if so, I think your manager does have a stupid rule. as a customer, I do not see people who pick up carts, listening to a walk man unprofessional, I see it as a way to kill boredom, for sure! My husband had a security job, where they wouldn't allow him to read his college texts. it was a night job, and nothing happened there. he had screens in front of him. I guess they thought he couldn't multi task or something (lol) they literally expected him to stare at an empty screen all night, at 8$ an hour? he took his books anyways, and did his homework. they didn't care anyways, it was just their policy. I'd say, get some speakers, you know, the buds? and have something discreet. there is a point when a boss can just be too self righteous, you know? just don't have your music up too loud, and pay attention to traffic, which is why they probably have that policy. good grief!
