I think i can help you by these..you and friends may have a petition to your principle to get the school have uniforms.Get other students to sign in the petition too.Insert the advantages of having school uniforms. One good way is to ask you and your friends parents to talk to your principle.Email or write letter to the principle maybe.Talk face to face is more better.

hi, dear diana, why e-mailing?? doesn't he/she have an office??? go directly there and complain.. other choice is to choose another school that has uniforms! I mean you can't force some kids to put on uniforms just because other kids want that! am I not right?

Deanna how organized has the student body gotten with this? Have you passed around a petition in school to see how many students are in favor of uniforms? My neices and nephew went to public school but they still had a strict dress code and it was because of why you were pushed down the stairs. Another solution to full uniforms may be a specific dress code such as only khaki or slacks, no sweatshirts, t shirts with logos on them, no hats, and then rule out whatever the prevalent "gang" colors may be in your area. That's how their public schools handled this issue. There were specific colors they were not allowed to wear at all. Anyone who violated the dress code was sent to the prinicipal's office and usually sent home.
