Well let me just say I have been so good over the last few weeks ok apart from the Yogurt Business with Gissi but that was fun hehehe
Well I guess it was time then really
I like my Oil Burner it spreads such a lovely Scent, the only thing that is a pain in the Butt with it that you have to keep an eye on the Water. I have a small plastic Bottle in here with the Water, when I fill it up first to start the Burner I use hot water, well about an hour ago I made a coffee so I decided that instead of getting the Water out of the Hot Tap why not just use it from the Kettle as I had just made a Drink. Ok that was no problem, it was easy, pour boiling hot Water and there you go. But ..........
No one told me that the Bottle will melt and the hot water goes over your Hand as you are carrying it through, and that it really hurts, that you can not just drop the Bottle as then it will be all over the Floor and the Chance of splashing on your Legs and burning them as well, so I stood there trying to not to use this lovely Language that I use when I get hurt (I did not succeed) and while my hand is burning I put the Bottle gently on the Floor, then I do the dance with the lovely Language to go with it, get to the cold Tap and let the cold Water run over my Hand, while Gissi is checking out the Bottle all cool. Now I have managed to burn my Thumb and the Finger next to it on my left Hand. But I have to say the Bottle is a cool Shape now
It is actually shaped like a Body lol take a look
Quite proud of my Creation there

Good grief woman do you never learn? I mean it isn't that long since I spoke to you and specifically asked you to be careful is it? Between you and Niamh I don't know which of you is going to make my hair go white first! lol A cool shape bottle - are you for real? Go to your room young lady until you can learn to be careful! xxx

ok Katesmama I think I remember one of my friends a while ago telling me they got confused and asked the wrong person how Niamh was so maybe that explains it! lol AAnd as for you Angel Gabs - do you not think I have enough to deal with with a certain woman who lets tins of apricot fall on her and cut her nose just a few days before she ends up on crutches? lol You are so unrepentant it is like dealing with another Niamh - just the thought of that gives me nightmares! xxx

Lovely bottle but would rather you not go through this again to make further creations - I hope you are ok and that the language and 'dance' have subsided :)
Keeping you in my thoughts dear, ((((((gabs))))))

hehehe back at you - it's not your own now, it's on my list too :)
When I worked at the foster care home I was on 3rd shift with 2 natural blondes - any time something went wrong on the shift the other 2 would say, "Faith had a blonde moment" - it was expected with them but I usually kept us on track "usually" :)

What ARE we going to do with you! i scalded myself but at least it was a tipped cup! You won't do that one again fortunately and you have alerted everyone else now so hopefully everyone else knows all about it too. I hope you are OK, you really can not be left on your own for two minutes.
You take better care of yourself now, do you hear!

I don't think you are cut out to be a sculptor darling, not if you are going to do yourself that much damage. Leave the Fairy bottle to Tinker and see if she can do better than her Mum lololol.

Oh Gabs, you almost made me spit my cofee on the screen. I can't imagine sweet little you using bad language. That bottle is such a work of art. Now all you need is to make some clothes for it and get some yarn for hair and you will have a lovely decoration. I hope your fingers are better now.

I think it's divine. The form, the texture, the post-modern product label adding a soupsant of contemporary design!
All artists suffer for their work daaahling!
Can you knock out a few dozen more? I'm sure you could ebay them for some vast sum then spend the proceeds on savlon cream! lol

Thats terrible OUCH , I did the same once and still have the scars , I was pouring a coffee one evening it was almost dark and I had no lights on anyways I poured the water fight over my hand ...
The next morning my daughter went to jump in my arms and I had to catch her with the blistered hand and tore the blister right off ...
Thats when I finally went to the doctor , I had third degree burns ....
Not funny ...

Geez - burnt fingers? Maybe you should've let good ol' Gizz type this one for you - based on two of your other discussions from a week ago. Just make sure that you have a pen or pencil nearby so he can jump up onto the computer chair, pick it up with his mouth, & start typing things one key at a time. He may not be able to type as fast as a human being, however.

Well - just hope he doesn't nudge you out of your chair, jumps up on it, & starts going at it.

Lol... I wouldn't go into the bottle moulding business though Gabs, or you'll end up in a cold bath.
Didn't you have any lavender oil handy... that's great for burns and very soothing? It's good for so many things that I suppose you don't stop to think, but I swear by it for all manner of things.
Don't try putting boiling water in a glass bottle either, or you'll have more than water problems. You take care, my friend... and here comes that blonde award again, but seeing as you've collected so many, I've changed the award for you. lmop.
Brightest Blessings xxx

Ummmmm.....Gabs? I don't think you're supposed to injure yourself for the sake of art. LOL The bottle really is cool looking, but the next time you decide to create something like that, don't forget the oven mitt to hold onto it. Better yet, use a long handled pair of tongs. LOL

Gabby give me your address because I am going to send you a box of bubble wrap and I am going to give Gissi instructions on how to wrap you up to keep you safe. LOL
I do not understand excally what you are talking about with the buner or what the bottle was used for but I did see the pucture. Ouch. I hope you will be fine.
Gabby please be careful.

Lol. I have done that. Some weeks ago I pour hot herbal tea into a drink bottle and cause it to warped. I know that plastic bottles use for drinks and other general liquids will warp if very hot liquid is poured into them yet I did it. This kind of plastic is called thermoplastic. Thermoplastic becomes soft and pliable when heated and hard and rigid when cooled again.
How are your thumb and finger? Ouch.

How's your poor hand now? The cold water helps a lot so maybe it's not terribly bad.

Oh my..tsk..tsk..you mean the Tink used terribly language?...it's a wonder Gissi didn't put his paws over his ears....Your bottle is truly a magnificent creation, but I sure hope you don't plan any other creations too soon...I did that once myself...I had some kind of plastic pitcher and I wanted to make Iced Tea--so boil the water..what I didn't know, but discovered soon enough, that the plastic that the pitcher was made of apparently wasn't made for boiling hot water either...and I too did my own masterpiece...but luckily since the pitcher was on the sink as I poured the water in I had no terrible disasters like splashing the water all over me...otherwise I'm sure I would have been doing my own dance and saying a few lovely choice words myself....How's your hand now? Hope its okay
