What would you do if your cat owned you?

If my cat owned me the way I owned her, I think that my attitudes would change. I'd probably become more loving and appreciative and less judgemental. And I'd know that I would be utterly devoted to my (master) cat. I might even test my cat's patience sometime by begging for food, scratching the vet, tinkling a little outside the litterbox, etc. Come to think of it, I wouldn't want to go too far! My playful, mischievous behavior could land me in a shelter or outside. And after being inside for so long, I doubt very much if I'd ever want to go out anyway.

You obviously havn't been paying attention :). Cats own people not the other way round and to the best of my knowledge it has always been this way. We have had cats for years and they usually end up ruling the roost. Our dog is afraid of the cats even though she is about 4 times their size, she's a very sensible animal.
