Pit Bulls

People are afread of Pit Bulls because of the were breed to be vicious, for fighting. Today people still breed them to fight, and take them out around other people and children knowing what the dog will do. They are beautfull and powerfull animals. I know a few who are very gentle and friendly, they wouldn't hurt a fly. I also know people who have been attacked by a Pit Bull. A friend almost lost her child because of a reckless owner. As she fought to save her child, he tried to stop her from hurting his dog. People like this should be put in jail and never allowed to have a dog at all. It's sad for the dogs because they are only doing what they are taught, or have been abused to the point of torture. The ASPCA won't allow them to be adopted because of their history.

People are afraid of Pit Bulls because, here in Brazil, we had some cases in which Pit Bulls killed their owner or attacked "Innocent" children. They hide the facts that their owners don't treat them well, and the children usually provoke them, you know? I think Pit Bulls are good dogs, they are beautiful. I want to have one, if I can. They seem to be nice and good!

To me a dog is a dog and I love them all. Unless their vicious I see no need to dislike a breed because of a reputation. I think their adorable.
