How about having a rainy session 3 days long? Does it happen in your place. In Kolkata, it happens every year. Every monsoon has seen such phases. Rain is very common here and falls plenty. But 3 day continuous sessions are very irritating. It makes the roads waterlogged, and for 3 days i have to stay at home...Does it happen at your place. Imagine it happened, how frustrated would you feel then, or would you just enjoy watching it?

Actually, I like the rain-- I live in the part of the Northwestern USA where it rains a lot. There are places not far from me that are actually "temperate rainforest" and it probably rains 300 days out of the year. I find it peaceful and soothing-- but I also realize that many people get depressed from the constant overcast, and the darkness in the winter. But then again, I am also quite happy to stay at home.

Yes, it also happens here in Philippines, I enjoy rainy season because office and schools are always suspended, its nice to stay at home with your family and have some hot soup.. but ofcourse it still stressful after a heavy rain visit our country, there are lots of families who loses their house because of huge flood in some other places, I still feel lucky coz it doesnt happen to us.. (god forbid)..

well we just had one week of rain, continuous and most of our drainage system could not cope with it. Many of our towns and villages in the north of England were flooded out and continue to be so. So, if it is going to do this regularly, we are going to need a much more efficient drainage system
blessed be

I feel irritated. I always like to feel the sun warm on my back. I just like to stay indoors when it rains and all my activites get blocked, so I dont like continous rains. It leads to floods , loss of shelter and even life.
I am a in chennai , but I study at NIT durgapur very close to Kolkata , so I too expreince those continous rains. I feel difficult to go to hostel , go out . My schedule is spolied. I enjoy rain when it is for a hour or two but when it is prolonged if feel sick of it. I will just be waiting to see the sun shine bright.

It feels like the monsoon season here in the UK right now. Flooding and widespread and has claimed lives, the rain seems to be constant and heavy. It's depressing, grey and miserable.

It's good to have rain every now and then to cool the weather. The Chinese believe that rain brings wealth, although I think it's just a symbolic belief only. But having too much rain can be unwelcoming. Particularly irritating is the type of rain that keeps on going continuously, sometimes heavy and sometimes light, but never stopping day and night. It is depressing, it kills outdoor activities and it makes you feel like staying home and not wanting to get out of the house. Out on the roads, it causes occasional floods and traffic jams everywhere. Here, we do get continuous rains sometimes during the monsoon seasons, but at other times in between monsoons, we can have little or no rain, and hotter weather.

i feel sad when it rains for 3 (or more) straight days especially at times when i really can't go out because of the monsoon rains or typhoon...
i hate the site of landslides and floods... i pity the people who are greatly affected...

here in the Philippines, It can rain continously not only for 3 days but more so imagine how gloomy could that be. I don't hate rain but I find it hard to do usual stuff easy when it's raining like going out, doing the grocery and even going to work when it rain is quite an effort, because here, traffic is worse during rainy days, there are lots of flooded streets.

It doesn't bother me! I love the rain, and I wish it would rain a lot more here! I'd do the rain dance everyday if that's what it takes lol. Maybe that's because I live in Arizona and don't get rain often, but I love the rain a lot!

Yup it makes me frustrated, i can't go out and continous raining floods the area. We have to have some stock of food or else its hard to go out and sometimes there's no electricity. I'm concerned about the flooded places. The people who get affected.

Continuous rain would only make me frustrated if I need to go out somewhere while it's raining. But if I don't need to go out or simply I just need to stay at one place, it's quite ok.
Continuous rain happens here in my place since it's the rainy season for the tropical countries. For the past week, it has been raining every night, oh well afternoon till night. But the last few days, it has been the whole day. Well there aren't any waterlogged roads though, maybe the drainage was built right. But you can't help but get wet when you do go out.
The other day, I needed to get out. Whew, it was horrible. I couldn't keep myself neat. Rain was everywhere. But it's ok, at least I did what I had to do. But I hoped it wouldn't rain when I need to go out. Otherwise, it's ok to rain. I love watching and listening to rain.
