Babtized catholic swithched to Christian

I was babtized catholic when i was a baby. I went to catholic church with my grandma because i had to. we went to the spanish mass and i don't really speak spanish (especially then) and i didn't understand what they were talking about. When i got older after my grandma had passed i went with my aunts sometimes and they went to the english mass and i still didn't understand what they were talking about. I'm now 22 and i have been going to a Christian church for a year and i love it! I understand fully what they are preaching and i was even compelled enough to actually read the bible. I have never felt so spiritually connected in my life. The questions is, what really is the differnce between Christianity and Catholisism? What is your opinion on the matter?
