Would you believe this person?

You're waiting on a call from someone. It is important that you get some information by a specific date and you leave them a number of messages. Finally they do call you a week after the final date, they say they didn't get any messages, that they did call you a week before and no-one answered the phone (I was here at the time they said). They know we have voicemail, so I asked them if it had gone through to voicemail. They said it had, but they hadn't left a message. I don't believe them. I also can't understand why some people do not leave messages - they have already paid for the call so why not?

No i would not believe that person. Not if you called several times at different times and left them messages and they supposedly didn't get them. I don't understand why people don't leave messages either. if they called, there had to be a reason, why not just say why you called. My family does that all the time. They'll call and never leave a message. ugh it's irritating. But no i wouldn't believe them.

Thanks for your reply. I always find the lack of a message irritating, particularly when you just miss picking up the phone.

I wouldn't believe them, no. They probably couldn't get the information and were trying to make it your fault or something. I hate people like that! They should just be honest and help you out, instead of making your life harder. x

Some people are just like that. They tell lies because they do not want to own up to their own mistakes. It has something to do with their ego. I don't understand why some people are like that too. If I were to call a person, and they have voice mail, I would leave a message. Furthermore, I would do it especially when I know the recipient is expecting a call from me.

Yes i also have few experience related to that.... seriously there will be mistrake from their end but they wont accept it and rather than that they try to blame on us so that they could escape them selves... why the people are doing so i am not able to understand....

I would not believe them in that case. I did once have a problem getting my messages to play, so I was honest and told people, but they hardly ever believed me either..lol. But I have caller ID, so I would just call them back when i got home to see what they needed. I do not leave messages for people if just calling to say hello, etc. If I am calling for a purpose such as getting information, leaving information, etc I will leave a message. The type of phone plan I have I do not pay for each individual call. I pay a fee monthly and can call all over the US with no minute rate etc. So it doesn't matter whom I call. In a case like yours it seems they probably either forgot or didn't want to call for some reason. I have been known to let something slip my mind. Completely blanking out. Then when I remember, I always feel like oh s#@t !!

No, I probably wouldn't believe them. I have caller ID, and I love it. If you had it, you could have known for sure.
