Hello prily9! Welcome to Mylot!:-)
I am not very experienced here but I have been around for more than 3 months now, so here are my direct and indirect 'secrets' (but no secrets:-)):
My understanding of the affairs tell me that with a response of up to three line, you will make 1 cent. If your response is 4-8 lines, it will bring you some 2-3 cents. if it is higher than 8 lines than your earning can be even more. I have earned an average of 5-6cents per post here. In fact my total earning for 600 posts is around $37, so it's a little more than 6 cents per post. Always try to be descriptive and explain your point.
I would not recommend you to start many discussions here in beginning. You should be replying to other peoples and make friends with them. Your posts has a greater chance of getting more responses once people know you and have trust in you. Number of responses to my posts have increased with time. Always rate people and try to rate with a "+"
Try to upload images where ever possible (I don't do it as such), it will bring you 1 cent if any member sees it and rates it positive.
Always respond to comment made on your discussions. It develops a relationship of friendship and common interest and understanding which further helps in reciprocation in participating in each other's discussions. Also try to go back to discussions you have responded to, to reply for any comment made on your comment, it also develops a bond between two people and make them friends.

Wow, your responses are very detailed, and articulated. 6 cents a post a alot to me. Thx for the valuable information. I will keep in mind all these, and motivate myself to post genuine responses.

I am not always paid 6 cents a post, it is an average. Sometimes, especially in last two days, I am just paid 3 cents for my posts but then other times I have been paid as high as around 10 cents per post, so it comes to an overall average of near 6.

I can suggest to you that first have more patience and try to be have more time for you to earn more. Tyr to post 2 to 3 discussion per day upload pictures that are interested try to response many discussion as you would and in your discussion you try to response them back for your discussion can be on top. Be nice always for the mylotters will judge your responses to them. Add more friends.

Welcome to mylot .. Well to earn more here -- the secret is to maintain your quality level .. Whatever you say here .. just be very much sure that it makes sense .. and you need to be as much descriptive as possible ... write as much as you can .. the more you type .. more you will earn.
