Computers down but Im not out....

Lol yes I do and I hope it never happens to me as I would not be able to afford to get it fixed and I would certainly be lost without my Computer now Hope you get it back soon

Yes I do. I just got on a couple of hours ago. We are having road repairs done not too far from my house. Last night or early this morning we, the whole neighborhood, lost our TV and Internet. The construction works had cut through the cable lines and a few days ago they cut through the phone lines!

yeah its so annoying, when the computer crashes you get so far behind with things, well i do because all my study and things i do on the net. well see you when your computer is fixed. good luck

Don't worry, we'll keep your seat warm for you mate. LOL. I thought it happened to me the other day. I've been having connectivity issues and my ISP help desk guy got me to adjust some stuff and reset my modem. My modem showed up faulty. The next guy I spoke to got me to alter the previous guys settings and again reset my modem. Result: Faulty. I was practically in tears and think I'd just have to go and buy a new computer (which I don't have the money for and can't afford to put on my credit card). The third guy got me to adjust the settings again and everything has been fine since. Touch wood.

I'm sooooooooooo sorry......I still reckon it was because I was sick and slip of the mouse..but hey all is well now......... and i know you still love me.LOL

Well this is just one of those things. Computers and other gadgets are usually bound to break down but hey, don't worry about it, it would soon be OK. Sometimes though it is not easy to just ignore these things especially when it happens so suddenly. Are you sure it is OK logging in to mylot from another computer.

Yes tredale I do hate that. I just got back on because we moved and I just got it all hooked up. And I missed being on here. I hope you get yours working real fast.

Oh no- another mylot friend- another computer problem! Not good- I hope your computer is fixed quickly and that is doesn’t cost a lot of cash!

Yes, its horrible, I would be totally lost, I didnt have a computer a couple of months back when we moved for about 6 days, I was going insane.

oh yes I hate it already when computer gets slower than it used to be, let alone down completely :( anyway i hope they can fix it well so it lasts longer.

It must be terrible for you, I know how I feel when my computer goes down, or my internet providers mixes up some cables and I don't have access to the Internet. I am addicted by now, and I am getting addicted to myLot. But it's better than boozing around, isn't it?

No, I take this opportunity to do all the things I put aside to post on my lot - such as music practice, reading novels, going for walks etc.

i did happen to me, yesterday, but not to my computer, my isp is down, for 24 hours, imagine, i cant do nothing, unlike you, i cant go out side, have a daughter to take care of , so you see how restless i was yesterday. my kid and i play ball, to pass the time. hope it does not happen again.

I hate when that happens. You should of made a post and let us try to possible help you fix the problem before spending any money. Do you have any idea what was wrong. or actually what was the computer doing, not doing ?
