Oh my! I thought I don't care about having a star appearing right to my name - but I do! I reached 100 posts today and am surprised to find a star and it's RED. I got a 9 out of 10 hehe. I am so happy and I want to thank myLot for recognizing my effort and my posts. I wanna thank my friends as well and other myLotters for giving a "+" to my posts - I owe you my star. Mwah!!! This is only my second day here at mylot.com.
Can someone explain the stars, and the numbers on the star?
How do you get them, what are the levels, etc?
I tried finding the answers in the FAQ, but I may not have found the answer.

Hi Barbaraeyre , welcome to mylot. When you make 100 combination of opening a discussion / post / replies you will be giving a star.
Now, you see out to your right plus and minus. members will either give you a plus or a minus. This affects your star rating. If you do a mouse over on any members star you will see xx/100

Thank you for the explanation, I certainly appreciate you taking the time to do so. I did mouse-over the stars, but no xx/100 came up. I'm on Firefox and XP ... not sure if that makes a difference or not. But no worries - am just here to have fun, make friends, network, learn some new things, and make a few dollars at it *grins*

congrats to you kriz!! thats great, when i had my stars a couple of days ago, i got a yellow star which has 8 on it. but you got the brighter 9!! congratulations!! keep it up!!

Were you the one who said "who knows your first start might be blue?" I was trying to recall it a while ago and am happy to report that I got nine! Thank you friend. Blessings. Yeah you got a red star now... great job!

Well, congratulations! Like you I don't care about the star thing before but when I found out the other night that my close friends gets her red star I got frustrated and aim to have a star too beside my name and yesterday afternoon I suceeded. I got my yellow star!haha... I'm aiming to get a blue star with 10 in it. Wish me luck! d;)
