Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected?

You weren't expecting this kind of unexpected question right?I think I do make some sense here, though some would probably think the question is plain crap, but hey, if you can give me answers then you're one Einstein in the making. But if you do expected the unexpected then its not unexpected anymore right? Or its probably more of the subconscious trying to psychologically invert whatever it is that you want to happen. Or you probably are just too scared to admit it yourself.
