Do You Start Or Respond to Discussions?

I respond more, i think you do not get paid for the discussion as much as responding.

I think I start more discussion than i respond. I am trying to respond more to discussions. Especially my friends. I have not been getting many responses to my discussions, so I am hoping that if I show my friends i care, maybe they will start looking for my discussions as well.

Well I am not sure what pays more and what does not, but I find that I respond more to discussions than posting new discussions. I guess I have more to relate to than I have to give news on or wanting to discuss with other people. It might change later on, but for now that is what I do. I have started a couple of discussions and not with great success either. So ja, this is me the responder.

It depends. I have more than 7000 discussion topics to my credit and some of them have received close to 800 respeonses. Now I do not concentrate on discussion, rather I find it convenient to give responses. All the memebrs get paid for both discussions as well as responses. They also get paid for the pictures too.

I respond to far more than I start- I recently just started to start more over the past couple of days- I like to hear what others think and what they are doing- so I figured start a discussion and respond to them too- I’m not sure if you get paid more for discussions or responses- I just do what feels right- I want to enjoy my time here- and I do so by following what my friends are doing!

I have probably responded to three times as many discussions as I have started. I really, really don't know how the payment system works though. I think it's that you get $0.01 for responding to someone else's discussion and $0.06 every time someone responds to one of your discussions.

once i went on vacation, and i left many discussions i started, and thought when i got back i would be paid a few cents at least. alot of people responded, and they was no money given on the days i was not here, but i had over 100 responses...so i dont know if they don't pay unless you write back, or if they just dont pay at all!

Hi Markdy, Sorry that I didn't know the payment system either.But I just reply back to you becaues you will fell happy by seeing one more responses here, since I will always feel happy when I got a reply. And I don't exactly know how the My Lot Paying system goes, and I doubt why Mylot just tells everyone here more clearly about this so that quite some people might have some more power to do such kind or start or reply to a discussion. I am more of a responder than a poster, because I like to share and spread things that I've learned in life. I am not that good of a topic starter, so most of the times I just look for good topics to respond to. I prefer helping other mylot members wh are in need, give my opinion and contribute at discussions. Plus, I get to earn faster while responding!;)

I have started a few discussions but find myself responding much mor often. I did not come here for the money; came for good conversations!! And along the way have made new friends!! I also sometimes find myself reading discussions and responses and have to come back later to make my own responses!!

I respond more .. definitely. I don't do many discussions.. maybe only 2 a day. I don't know how MyLot chooses to award the earnings. So i just do a little bit of both.. and as long as i earn some, that's good enough for me.. :)
