I am haing problems with PeoplePc and just called technical service only to find out that they now charge you to give you tech help with their product. I refuse to do that so I am going ot change provider. My first problem with them is that starting yesterday I started getting a proxy server message on some sites. I have never had the problem before.Sorry to go on and on. I am looking for a good service so any ideas?

Personally I am a fan of Verizon DSL. Their basic plan (768k) is very inexpensive, and if you want more speed they have other plans you can buy into.
I've had them for 2 years now, and I have been nothing short of satisified. They even have a few good folks on their tech support lines.

I have cable internet through charter and I love it. We have had no problems with it over the 2 years we have had it and the company is really friendly. I have also had DSL through SBC and they were real good too. I only changed because charter gave me a cable, phone and internet deal.
